The Modified Soccer Girls
Had Their First Game!
The Game:
The modified girls team played against Elba in Oakfield-Alabama. They worked very well together with only about week of practice. Although they lost badly, they had fun and were proud. All in all, the girls were just happy to be playing a school sport. Even though they lost count of the score, it was clear, they lost! But it was only the first game!
About the Team:
Our team has exactly 11 people, so no subs! Big shout outs to our two goalies: Kiya Lupisella and Madison Baird! They made excellent saves and tried their best! Also, Tera Milazzo, Christiana, and Josie Pfenninger were amazing defenders! They held their part and really tried to keep the goal safe! And on offense, Lilah Rocha, Jayden, and Marena were fantastic! They made great passes and got some opportunities to score! Also, Alison made amazing kicks! She really helped a lot on mid-field! It was hard when she got hurt, but she really pulled through! And Carissa Kiester played well on both offense and defense. She claims she's not good at defense, but she totally is! Our team is excellent, and, after some more practices, we will prove to the other teams that we are better! Awesome job to the modified team for trying so hard! Our coach is really helping us and putting us to work! Wish us luck at our next game on Friday!
