1.       Hippopotamuses are herbivores which means that they only eat plants.

2.       Hippopotamuses are covered in leathery skin.

3.       They are native to sub-Saharan Africa.

4.       Hippopotamuses live in lakes, rivers, and wetlands.

5.       Predators of hippopotamuses are lions, hyenas, and crocodiles.

6.       Hippopotamus usually only have 1 child.

7.       Hippopotamuses exert pink anti-bacterial sweat.

8.       The lifespan of a Hippopotamus is usually 40-50 years.

9.       Baby Hippopotamus are called a calf.

10.   There are only 150,000 Hippopotamuses left in the world.
