5.       Koalas spend up to 80% of their time sleeping or resting.

6.       A baby Koala is called a joey.

7.       Habitat loss and disease are the biggest threats to Koalas.

8.       Koalas are not bears, they are marsupials.

9.       Koalas are picky eaters.

10.   Koalas are losing their homes to excessive tree-clearing.

  The Man in the Mirror    By: Madeline Reid   The chilly air blowing in through the open window wakes me, brushing my hair into my face and wetting my skin with the morning dew . Letting out a breathy sigh I open my eyes and sit up. Stretching my arms out above my head I let out a yawn before peeling the warm covers off my body and letting the chilly air hit it.
