Birth of the 3rd Guardian By Grace Delorisses

 Birth of the 3rd Guardian

By: Grace Delorisses

One beautiful morning in the Akauro, trees became one with the wind, fish jumped in and out of the calm crystal blue river. A village, who was both modern and middle aged, raved with its everyday excitement. Children ran in and out of stores and stalls with their parents or siblings. Bamboo and silk kites and balloons painted the sky with color. Grass reflected the colorful light of the sun shining through the objects. The beauty of childhood, which was very much appreciated in the entirety of the Akauro and Akari. One child, however, stood out from the rest. Her hair was a red that was slightly lighter than the rest of the population. Though she wasn't ostracized by society like you may think, she was outcasted by her own family. Her siblings were born in sets of twins and triplets, which was more than common for the Akauro. The first born was a loner, yet that is still not the reason why she was outcasted by her own blood. Her mother, who regretted giving birth to this poor child, was very, extremely, Stringent about keeping her identity as the first-born princess from her subjects.
