JV Girls Soccer at Wheatland-Chili

This year, the JV girls soccer team consists of fourteen girls: two seventh graders, four eighth graders, and seven ninth graders. They have won and lost three games so far making for a total of six games altogether.  As a team member, I know first-hand that we have hard practices daily and almost always have at least one game a week. We have a good team of girls and a great coach, Karl Keydel. On forward, we have Ella Murray, Raina Evans, Chyene Whitcomb, and Lauren Nelson. On mid-field, we have Ella Chitaphong, Grace Braselton, Ava Cody, and Scout Brandes. On defense, we have Madyson Sebastian, Madeline Reid, Hannalee Hotaling, Jayla Hanley, and Jaqueline Keister. We have a great team, and we will win lots of games.

  Crop analysis- Alfalfa Hay By: Connor Ingham                 Alfalfa hay is a leguminous plant that is grown mainly for silage, animal feed, or for a nitrogen supplying cover crop. Alfalfa, unlike most other plants, can grow for up to five production years after the first cutting of hay is complete. Commonly, alfalfa is mixed with other types of grasses, such as timothy hay, or oats that provide wind protection and frost protection during the winter, due to alfalfa’s low height.
